CONROE NOON LIONS CLUB

The Conroe Lions Club was chartered in 1939 with a group of 25 business men dedicated to improving their growing community. In 1986, the club changed its name to the Conroe Noon Lions Club and has since grown to be the second largest club in America and is a beacon of service to the Conroe area! At home and abroad, CNLC Lions are rolling up their sleeves and working to help five of the world’s most critical causes: Diabetes, the Environment, Hunger, Childhood Cancer, and Vision.

Greetings from the Conroe Noon Lions Club, the “Greatest Lions Club in the World.” Wednesday brought another great luncheon meeting with an excellent group of people. Our meeting started with our usual songs, pledges, invocation, and introduction of guests. It was a men vs women battle on our weekly song rendition of “Smile” with the men clearly leading the way in terms of volume. The Community Partner of the Spotlight of the Week went to Pierson & Pierson, CPA’s. Thank you for your support of the Conroe Noon Lions Club. In honor of longtime Lions Club member, Dick Guiffre who recently passed away, all fines collected during club this week will be donated to our beloved Texas Lions Camp in Kerrville Texas.

Our Recent Events

"Service Saturday - Sleep in Heavenly Peace"

We had a great turn-out at our most recent Service Saturday, which was held at Sleep in Heavenly Peace in Conroe. We rolled up our sleeves to build beds for kids at the Texas Lions Camp!

"Reading at Reaves"

As part of the national Read Across America, Lions came out on March 2nd to read books to our awesome students at Reaves Elementary! The kids had a great time! Thanks to all the volunteers that participated in making this fun event a success.

"Service Saturday - Owen's Park"

This past Service Saturday, Lions donated their time, tools, and skills to making bird houses for the kids at Texas Lions Camp. Thanks to everyone who showed up and put their handiwork to use!
