🏀 Tip-Off - thE BIGGEST THANK YOU!
Hey Lions,
I think this week deserves one giant...
THANK YOU! ❤️
Seriously, y’all showed up EVERYWHERE. From Recycling with a Twist, to filling every reading spot at Reaves Elementary, to making your way around the track at our Pit Crew Trade Show, and then finishing it all off with 'kids on the lake' - Saturday...WOW. What a week!
There were glasses being sorted, books being read, committees being discovered, fish being caught, games being played, and a whole lot of Lions doing what Lions do best.
Thank you to everyone who volunteered, organized, donated, participated, recruited, hauled stuff around, or helped behind the scenes. It takes a lot of people to pull off weeks like this, and you guys knocked it out of the park. Or, since this is the Playbook...
I guess you knocked down the buzzer-beater. 🏀😂

🎤 THIS WEEK'S PROGRAM
This Wednesday we'll welcome Luke Redus with Compassion United.
We'll hear more about the work Compassion United is doing right here in our community, including what's happening at Miracle City in Conroe.
If you've driven by, heard the name, or wondered exactly what Miracle City is all about, this should be a great opportunity to learn more about what's happening there and the people they're serving.

Here’s something you may not know!
Each week, you can read our Conroe Courier story right on the CNLC website or through your ClubRunner app—and you don’t need a Courier subscription to read it! It’s a great way to keep up with what our club is doing, see some familiar Lion faces, and share our story with friends and family.
This week’s story is “Conroe Noon Lions Club Members Usher in Fall with a Full Service Calendar”—which seems pretty fitting after the week we just had! 😂
👉 Read this week’s Courier story
You can also find it anytime in the ClubRunner app. So go check it out—and even better, share it! It’s an easy way to show people what Conroe Noon Lions is all about.
See you Wednesday, Lions!
Yours in Service,
Madi Perry
