Neon, spandex, and short-shorts fines…oh my! Last week’s meeting looked less like Lions Club and more like a lost Richard Simmons workout tape. Tracy and the VP trio stormed the floor in neon headbands and spandex, shaking and rattling like it was cardio hour. Jake and Andrew? Let’s just say ‘untanned chic’ isn’t trending. The Fashion Police stepped in…citations for neon, fines for shorts that didn’t meet fingertip length. Justice was served, boys. Luckily, Sharene grabbed the mic, and turned the madness into a Community Partners - LEVEL UP announcement.
AUGUST IS COMMUNITY PARTNER MONTH - Our Community Partners program fuels everything we do…fundraisers, service projects, and all the roaring in between. There are 4 levels of support (tax-deductible, too!) for businesses and individuals.

Every cast is a win, every catch has a cheer squad, and every kid walks away with a memory (and maybe a fish story bigger than the one that got away). The Hannahgram: Boot Edition - Fractured my ankle heroically saving a Whataburger bag from becoming litter…did a spin, tripped over a rogue shopping cart, went down like a Texas-sized drama queen, heard a pop, saw God, and let the bag live while I did not. At least, that’s the story I’m telling. (Some of you know the real villain was my cat and a pair of heels, but hey…every Lion deserves a little legend.) Now I’m in a boot- not the sparkle upgrade I wanted but here’s the thing: Lions don’t stop moving. Even when life trips us up, we keep serving, keep laughing, and keep leveling up… boot, limp, sass and all.
