Your weekly dose of Roars, Recaps & Reminders!
Lions,
Lions, did you know sharks existed before trees?
“Which is still somehow younger than Jake’s dad jokes…”

ROAR STOPPER ALERT! Brought to you by someone who technically did not go over time… except for the part where I did. #BlameTheClicker
Lion Tracy crushed her P&S presentation last week…nailed the 10-minute mark like a pro. Me? Not so much. My laptop had a full-blown midlife crisis, but we powered through and still looked fabulous. Thanks to everyone who showed up and helped us hold onto those bragging rights!

HOMETOWN MILITARY HERO: Find a Hero, Be a Hero
We’re searching for a locally active-duty military hero to honor this year. Think: someone who’s currently serving in any U.S. military branch, and lives around here. Nominate your cousin, your neighbor, or that quiet guy at the gym who could probably bench-press a tank.
Deadline: Tuesday, September 30

THIS WEEK’S PROGRAM: New Members Incoming!
Let’s give our newbies the warmest (and weirdest) welcome only this club can deliver. PDG Mark Roth from the Houston Heights Lions Club is doing the honors with a New Member Induction you won’t want to miss. Come for the pins, stay for the awkward handshakes.

The Hannahgram: One Part Planner, Two Parts Disaster, 100% Lion
I tried to have a calm morning with coffee and club emails... then spilled said coffee on said emails. Now my to-do list smells like hazelnut and regret. But hey… if caffeine-fueled chaos isn’t peak Lion energy, I don’t know what is.
