Fellow Lions,

Each year our Lions District 2S2 representing all the clubs in the greater Houston area host it's annual Mid-Winter Conference and their Bob Dowden Dinner during the month of January.

The Bob Dowden Dinner is the annual fundraiser for the Texas Lions Camp.  This years event is a Valentine themed evening of fun and gaiety.  Attendees are asked to don their favorite red, white or love outfits as they raise money for TLC.   The dinner cost is $75 pp, social & games start at 6:30pm and dinner will be served at 7:30pm + cash bar.  There is also a Live & Silent Auction and auction items are needed.

The Mid-Winter Conference is designed with learning sessions & seminars for all Lions.  This year's topic is 'The Power of Partnerships" - our own Judge Wayne Mack will be one of the speakers, along with Heather Rimato, a District Governor with Rotary International, and Kyle Sheldon, CEO of Partnership Lake Houston.  The District will also hold their Youth Contest during the conference.  The event starts at 9:00am (check-in 8:30am) with breakfast and lunch and will dismiss at 2:00pm.

ALL Lions are encouraged to attend.  For registration to either one or both events; click the button below which will take you to the District website with more information.  We are ALL one big Lions family and would appreciate as many Conroe Noon Lions to attend as possible.

Hope to see you there!
