CONROE LEO CLUB: Lions + Youth = Magic
The Leo Club meets the 2nd & 4th Monday of every month. That means TONIGHT at 5:30pm at the Chamber of Commerce. Bonus: our own Amanda Anders is the guest speaker, talking about banking literacy. Swing by, cheer her on, and remind our youth that Lions show up big.
HOMETOWN MILITARY HERO: Find a Hero, Be a Hero
We’re searching for a locally active-duty service member to shower with love this Lions year. Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard… doesn’t matter. If they’re serving, they qualify.
Weekday volunteering not your jam? Perfect, THIS THURSDAY is basically a Lions after-hours party disguised as productivity. Expect tours, training, food, and fun to make you forget it’s about recycling.

PRE-SCHOOL VISION SCREENINGS: Kiddos + Chaos
We’re kicking off a whole MONTH of pint-sized vision screenings! NO experience needed, just patience and maybe a sticker bribe or two.
Shotguns? Check. Clay targets? Check. Questionable aim and bragging rights on the line? Double check. The annual Clay Shoot is back at Blackwood Gun Club, and we need shooters, sponsors, and volunteers who can tell the difference between a target and a tree branch. Early birds get a bargain, just $125 (normally $160); for shoot'agans and the fun shoot flurry plus the glory of quick check-in. Don’t snooze, or you’ll pay more to miss the same number of clays.

The Hannahgram: Your Lion in Chief of Chaos
I started the week thinking I could be that girl with the neat planner and zero inbox. Cute, right? By Tuesday, my planner looked like a crime scene, my inbox was screaming in ALL CAPS, and my coffee was 90% regret, 10% creamer. But let’s be real… if Lions ran on “calm and organized,” we’d be accountants (no offense to the accountants in our club…you’re the only ones keeping us out of jail).
