Did you know Thanksgiving calories don’t count if you eat them while standing over the sink? I’m not saying it’s science, but it’s definitely survival.
 

ROAR STOPPER ALERT!  What. A. Season. Lions! Six full weeks of Preschool Vision Screenings...and you all showed up in true Lion fashion! A massive thank you to every volunteer who braved tiny chairs, sticker chaos, and juice-box negotiations to make a difference. You are the real visionaries! But before we trade our screening charts for stuffing and pie, check out what’s roaring this week and beyond:

SERVICE SATURDAY: Operation Tinsel Takeover at New Danville  
Christmas is sneaking up faster than leftovers disappear after Thanksgiving, and we’re kicking off the season at New Danville- a wonderful community supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We’ll be out there decking the lawns and flower beds with holiday cheer. Think Clark Griswold meets horticulture.

CONROE NOON AT NIGHT: It's Back - Because Lions need to practice their roaring volume control somewhere, and apparently Guadalaharry’s is willing to take that risk. Join us for chips, salsa, and stories that get less accurate with every round.

THIS WEEK’S PROGRAM:  Judge Wayne Mack - 'Your Body Keeps Score'   - This week, we’re turning the mic over to our very own Judge Wayne Mack, who’ll share his insights on how your body remembers stress (and possibly all the chili cook-offs). Bring your curiosity and maybe a notepad... you’ll want to take this one in.

It’s that time of year when Lions juggle service projects, tangled lights, and the illusion of control. We’re decking halls, selling raffle tickets, and pretending “festive panic” is a skill. My advice? Embrace the madness. Untangle the tinsel, and remember...perfection is overrated, but showing up with a sparkly smile is what counts.
