"Conroe Noon Lions: Texas Lions Camp work weekend coming up May 5-6"

The Conroe Noon Lions Club is plenty busy with a lot of spring activities ahead. First Vice President Jason Miller did an excellent job last week filling in for President Warner Phelps and congratulations to Lion Debbie Hooker on working hard to earn her permanent badge. Last week our Vision Screening Committee attended Healthy Kids Day at Travis Intermediate School, screening over 145 students.
In addition, the Lions District 2S2 Convention on April 21 and 22 was a big success. Lions District Governor Paul Moore was on hand during our meeting to thank the Conroe Noon Lions Club for our help with the convention. Lions Club International Director Ron Keller was given a tour of our eyeglass recycling center. We also hosted the hospitality room at the district convention which as always was a big hit. DG Paul awarded a District Governor’s Recognition Medal to Lion Tim Cox for his continued dedication and invaluable work at our eyeglass recycling center. Get out your calendars because we have some great events coming up in May.
